The project involves designing and building a long section of the Thane Metro. Specifically, it’s creating 20.527 kilometers of elevated tracks for the metro. This area connects the Underground Ramp to Balkum Naka, plus the depot approach and three special spans.
The total cost of the project is estimated at ₹1,424 crore. However, the joint venture submitted a bid of ₹1,415 crore. This includes all taxes and other expenses. This demonstrates a competitive bid within the project’s overall budget.
The construction will be carried out using an “Engineering, Procurement, and Construction” (EPC) method. This means that H.G. Infra Engineering and Kalpataru Projects International will handle everything from initial design to final building.
