What’s the Project About?
The PM VIKAS scheme’s main goal is to give minority youth the skills they need to succeed. NIFTEM Kundli will be responsible for running a program that provides job training. This training will equip young people with practical skills for a range of careers.
Who Will Benefit?
A total of 2,110 people from minority communities will take part in the program. These individuals will receive training in three specific areas: Multi Skill Technician (Food Processing), Millet Products Processor, and Assistant Baking Technician. The project will take place across seven different locations in Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, and Haryana.
How Will the Training Work?
The training will follow a strict national standard called the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). This ensures the skills taught are recognized and valuable. The training will be overseen by the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
What Happens After Training?
After completing their training, participants will be helped to find jobs. This could include getting a regular paycheck, starting their own business, or doing an apprenticeship. The aim is to fully integrate these young people into the economy and provide them with sustainable livelihoods.
Investing in skills is investing in a brighter future for all.
