Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) had a very strong month in December 2025. They sold a lot more tractors than they did the year before. This means their business is growing quickly!

Domestic Sales Figures
In December 2025, Mahindra sold 30,210 tractors within India. This is a huge jump – up 37% from 22,019 tractors sold in December 2024. This shows farmers in India really want Mahindra tractors!
Total Sales Growth
When you add in the tractors sold overseas, Mahindra’s total sales were 31,859 units in December 2025. That’s a rise of 30% compared to the 22,943 units sold in December 2024.
Export Success
Mahindra’s sales weren’t just strong in India; they also did incredibly well in exporting tractors. They shipped 1,649 tractors outside of India, representing a 78% increase from the 917 units exported in December 2024. This demonstrates increasing global demand.
Why the Growth?
Several things helped drive this success. Farmers were getting good harvests after the fall harvest (Kharif). The weather was nice, and there was plenty of water for planting new crops (Rabi). Because of this, farmers planted more crops, which meant they needed more tractors.
Strong tractor sales reflect a thriving Indian agricultural sector and Mahindra’s effective market strategies.
