Project Details
The new bridge will be built between Jhadupudi and Sompeta railway stations, part of the Khurda Road Division. It will be a ‘composite girder structure,’ meaning it’s made of different materials to be strong and durable. The bridge will have several sections, with spans of 36, 24, and 18.75 meters, designed to work well with the railway line.
The total cost of the project is Rs 55,26,31,365.74, and Infrabuild has 24 months to finish building it. This means they have a little over two years to complete the entire bridge.
Importantly, Infrabuild clarified that none of the people who own the company or are closely related to them are involved in this contract. This makes sure everything is fair and follows the rules set by the government.
However, the company’s financial results weren’t as good. Their profits decreased by 43.6% to Rs 2.11 crore, and their total sales went down by 21% to Rs 37.30 crore. These numbers are for the second quarter of the current financial year (Q2 FY26).
