The country has seen impressive GDP growth averaging 7.8% over the last three years, putting it among the world’s fastest-growing major economies. Currently, India is the fourth-largest economy and is expected to rise to third place in the near future.

A major indicator of this positive trend is the rising market capitalization to GDP ratio. This ratio has jumped from 69% in FY16 to 129% currently, demonstrating a deeper financial sector and greater investor trust.

Over the past decade, the Indian capital market has been a vital source of funding for various sectors. Approximately Rs 93 lakh crore has been raised through equity and debt offerings, supporting growth across industries.
