The price of Hindustan Zinc shares went up a lot – more than 4% – on Monday. This jump happened because silver was having a big rally, which made people feel good about buying Hindustan Zinc stock. The company is one of the best in the world at making silver, and it’s the only silver company in India that everyone can buy and sell on the stock market.

The stock price moved up to ₹632.55, which is the highest it’s been since January 7th. It was trading at ₹627.30 as of 1:59 PM, while the rest of the stock market (the Nifty 50) was only moving up a little bit. So, what caused this big increase?

The main reason was that silver prices went up because of problems happening around the world, like political disagreements. Since Hindustan Zinc makes almost half its money from silver, any big change in silver prices really affects them. They want to become the biggest silver, zinc, and lead producer, according to their recent reports.

During the last three months, Hindustan Zinc made 158 tonnes of silver. An analyst named Anshul Jain says that the stock price is going up, but it’s not getting enough help from people buying lots of shares. For the stock to keep going up, it needs to stay above a certain price, near ₹650, which would open the way to a much higher price of ₹700. However, there’s a chance the price could go down again if it falls below ₹610.

Also, the price of silver went up a lot – almost 6% – because people were buying it as a safe place to put their money when things were getting uncertain. The US government is also looking into some problems with the Federal Reserve, which could affect how quickly the stock price goes up. Unrest in Iran and problems with a leader in Venezuela added to the worry.

“The key to sustained growth lies in confident and expanding investor interest and trading volume.
