Highway Infrastructure (HIL), a company building roads, bridges, and managing toll roads in India, has secured a significant contract worth approximately Rs 32 crore. This deal, announced by HIL, involves managing fee collection at a specific point on National Highway 530B in Uttar Pradesh. The company will be responsible for operating the Jawar Fee Plaza and maintaining related facilities.

Specifically, this contract involves managing the user fees at a location called Jawar Fee Plaza. This plaza is on a section of National Highway 530B in Uttar Pradesh. The project covers a distance of 66 kilometers and includes keeping the nearby restrooms clean and managing supplies.
Highway Infrastructure is based in Madhya Pradesh and has a lot of experience. They’ve built over 27 toll roads and are using modern technology like electronic toll collection (ETC) and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to do it.
They’ve also worked on projects for the government under schemes like PMAY and PMGSY, which build roads and bridges for rural areas. In addition to roads, HIL is developing residential areas and larger “township” projects in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Recently, HIL reported a good profit – Rs 22.40 crore – on sales of Rs 495.72 crore for the year ending March 2025. They make most of their money from collecting tolls (over 77% of their revenue) and also from building new infrastructure and developing real estate.
The company’s stock price dropped slightly on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) – it went down 2% to Rs 58.66. Their order book, which is a list of projects they’ve been asked to do, currently stands at Rs 666.31 crore, indicating future opportunities.
