Current Fleet Details
GES already owns a significant fleet of 39 ships. This includes 25 tankers – some designed to carry crude oil, others for products like gasoline, and some for liquefied gas. They also have 14 dry bulk carriers, which are used to transport big amounts of goods like grain or coal.
Currently, the GES fleet is almost completely full, with a capacity of 3.17 million tons. This high use means they need more ships to keep up with demand.
New Ship Deals
GES isn’t just buying one ship; they have several deals in the works. They’ve agreed to buy a large gas carrier and an Ultramax dry bulk carrier. They also plan to sell one Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier and one Very Large Gas Carrier.
All these buying and selling deals are expected to finish by the fourth quarter of 2026. These moves are part of their plan to increase their shipping capacity.
