Key Points

  • Eicher Motors up 2% to ₹7,290, BSE high.
  • 51% market price increase YTD, outperforming Sensex & Auto Index.
  • Record Q2FY26 revenue: ₹6,172 crore (45% growth).
  • EBITDA up 39% to ₹1,512 crore.
  • Strong festive season demand, high booking volumes.

In Wednesday’s trading, Eicher Motors’ stock climbed despite a 0.36% decline in the BSE Sensex. The company closed at ₹7,233.15, reflecting positive momentum.

For the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26 (Q2FY26), Eicher Motors achieved its best-ever revenue at ₹6,172 crore, representing a remarkable 45% growth compared to the previous year’s ₹4,263 crore. This strong performance was driven by a 39% increase in EBITDA to ₹1,512 crore.

The company’s success is largely attributed to the favorable impact of recent government policies, specifically GST reforms. These changes have made motorcycles under 350cc more affordable, fueling increased demand.

Royal Enfield’s sales figures for November 2025 were particularly encouraging, with total volumes up 22% year-on-year to 100,670 units. The >350 cc segment experienced a slight de-growth of 6%, while domestic sales rose by 25% to 90,405 units.

Overall 2-Wheelers Domestic sales have grown 7% YoY to 17 million units in April-November 2025, mainly due to strong performance of RE (25%), TVS (15%) and Hero (30%).

Analysts at Axis Direct and ICICI Securities believe upcoming government initiatives, such as potential consumption measures and continued positive monsoon trends, could further boost demand. The brokerage firms’ target price for the stock stands at ₹7,850.

Eicher Motors is actively capitalizing on a refreshed product portfolio, including updated models like the Meteor, Classic, and Hunter, alongside new colourways and the expansion of premium platforms like the Himalayan and Shotgun. This, combined with growing exports (49% YoY) and RE’s increased ranking in key international markets, is driving inquiry-to-booking conversions and record quarterly volumes.

Takeaway: Strategic investments and product innovation are fueling Eicher Motors’ sustained growth and market leadership.
