The company is making solar-powered water pumps. These pumps will help farmers use the sun’s energy instead of electricity. The government supports this with a program called MTSKPY/PM-KUSUM, which gives farmers incentives to switch to solar.
The project will take around 60 days to finish. Crompton Greaves has to design, build, and install the pumps. They’ll work in different areas of Maharashtra.
Importantly, the company says the people in charge don’t have any connections to the electricity company. This means the deal is completely independent and follows all the rules.
However, Crompton Greaves’ profits dropped by 43% compared to the previous quarter. The company’s sales were slightly lower too, down about 1%. Despite these financial challenges, the company is still focused on growing its business in renewable energy.
Investing in sustainable solutions is crucial for long-term growth and environmental responsibility.
