The Canara Robeco Asset Management Company IPO was very popular. A significant number of shares were bid for, showing strong investor interest. The IPO involves the sale of 4,98,54,357 equity shares, totaling Rs 1261.32 crore at the lower price and Rs 1326.13 crore at the higher price. This sale includes shares from Canara Bank and Orix Corporation Europe N.V., with the promoter shareholding decreasing to 75% after the IPO. This means that the company is trying to raise money and attract more investors.

Canara Robeco, established in 1993 by Canara Bank, manages a large portfolio, including 26 schemes with Rs 1.11 lakh crore in assets under management. The company benefits from its strong connection to Canara Bank, which has a vast network of 9,861 branches across India and international branches.

Orix Corporation Europe N.V. (OCE), a 100% owned subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, holds a 49% stake. This partnership provides access to global markets and expertise. Canara Robeco also provides advisory services to Robeco Hong Kong. The company’s growth has been driven by leveraging the strength of its parentage and the extensive distribution network provided by Canara Bank.

To further boost investor confidence, Canara Robeco raised Rs 397.83 crore from anchor investors on October 8th, 2025. This money was used to sell 1.49 crore shares at Rs 266 each to 25 large investors. Recent financial results show a consolidated net profit of Rs 60.98 crore and income from operations of Rs 121.07 crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2025.
