Contract Details

AG Enviro Infra Projects won two contracts from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for collecting and transporting municipal solid waste (MSW). These contracts are vital for Antony Waste Handling Cell’s growth. The projects involve a joint venture between AG Enviro Infra Infra Projects (51%), Jigar Transport Company (29%) and M.K. Enterprises (20%).

Under these agreements, the joint venture will manage approximately 650 MT per day from wards A, B, C & D and 600 MT per day from N, S & T wards. This represents a significant increase in operational capacity for the company, with a commitment to providing new vehicles over the next seven years.

The total value of these contracts amounts to roughly Rs 1,330 crore. Antony Waste Handling Cell has clearly demonstrated its ability to secure and execute large-scale waste management projects, bolstering its financial outlook and operational strength.

Importantly, the company clarified that neither the promoters nor any promoter group have any connection to the BMC. This statement is crucial, as it eliminates concerns about potential conflicts of interest and reassures investors regarding the transparency of the business relationships.

Antony Waste Handling Cell is primarily focused on mechanical power sweeping of roads and the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste. The company’s recent performance, including a 12.9% increase in consolidated net profit and a 16.5% rise in revenue to Rs 257.65 crore, reflects the success of these strategic initiatives.

These financial results highlight the company’s operational efficiency and the growing demand for waste management services. The sustained increase in revenue underscores the company’s ability to capitalize on emerging opportunities within the sector.

“Securing these substantial contracts positions Antony Waste Handling Cell for continued growth and revenue generation within the dynamic waste management market.”
