AdaniConneX Acquires Trade Castle Tech Park – A Key Strategic Move
Adani Enterprises has finalized a deal to buy Trade Castle Tech Park (TCTPPL) for Rs 231.34 crore. This investment is being made through its AdaniConneX joint venture. The goal is to expand its technology infrastructure capabilities.
- AdaniConneX buys TCTPPL for Rs 231.34 crore.
- TCTPPL is a Maharashtra-based infrastructure company.
- The deal focuses on developing new data center facilities.
- No regulatory approvals are needed for the transaction.
- Acquisition expected to close by the end of November 2025.
- AdaniConneX seeks to expand its technological infrastructure.
Trade Castle Tech Park, located in Maharashtra, currently has no active operations and a relatively small capital base. This acquisition is part of AdaniConneX’s strategy to build out more data centers and other technology infrastructure.
The transaction isn’t connected to any of the Adani Group companies and doesn’t require approval from any government agencies. The expectation is that the acquisition will be completed by the end of November 2025.
Additionally, Adani Commodities LLP sold a large number of shares in AWL Agri Business (AWL) as a bulk deal on the same day, November 21, 2025. This sale represented 7% of AWL’s total shares.
Previously, Adani Commodities had already sold 13% of AWL’s shares to Lence Pte. Ltd. This earlier sale was announced on November 19, 2025. These actions are designed to change how Adani Group is seen by AWL’s shareholders.
Finally, Adani Commodities LLP and Adani Enterprises requested that AWL’s board change their status from “promoter” to “public investor”. This means they no longer own a significant number of shares and have no control over the company.
This strategic realignment strengthens Adani’s position in India’s growing technology sector.
Adani Enterprises is a major part of the Adani Group, which includes businesses like airports, roads, and water management. Recent financial results show the company’s profits increased significantly, but revenue slightly declined.
