TARIL, based in Ahmedabad, specializes in producing transformers and reactors. They primarily work with companies in the power generation, electricity transmission, and distribution industries, as well as industrial manufacturers. This business model is known as B2B, meaning they sell directly to businesses rather than consumers.
The company’s products include a wide range, from single-phase transformers up to 500 MVA and 1200 kV, to specialized transformers for things like trains, solar energy, green hydrogen projects, and portable power stations. They have a production capacity of around 40,000 MVA and currently serve clients in over 25 countries.
During the most recent quarter (Q2 FY26), the company’s revenue was approximately 460 rupees crore – very close to the 462 rupees crore from the previous year. However, the company’s profit after tax decreased by 19% to 37.5 rupees crore. This resulted in a lower profit margin of 7.9%, down from 9.7% the previous year.
