The bridge will be built on a stretch of road near the Lighthouse and will extend to Parkota Sheri. The total cost of the project, before adding taxes, is around 307.71 crore rupees. Ashoka Buildcon estimates it will take about 30 months to finish building the bridge, from starting the design to finishing the work.

Ashoka Buildcon is known for building and maintaining roads. However, their profits recently decreased. In the last quarter (Q2 FY26), their net profit fell by a lot – 82.92% – from the previous year. The company’s stock price went up slightly, rising 2.08% to 144.70 rupees on the BSE exchange.
