Project Details
The contract was awarded to Magellanic Cloud’s subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance. They will be responsible for everything involved in setting up and maintaining the system. This includes not just the cameras themselves, but also the wiring, computers to store the video, and any necessary building work.
The CCTV systems will be placed at level crossing gates that aren’t electronically controlled – these are called “non-interlocked” Level Crossing (LC) gates. This is a particularly important area because these crossings are often more vulnerable. The project area is the Narkher-Chandur Bazar section of the railway line.
The project’s value is approximately 3.61 crore rupees. Magellanic Cloud is ensuring the system meets strict requirements set by the Research Design Organisation (RDSO). RDSO approval guarantees the CCTV systems are reliable and meet national safety standards.
The complete system includes high-definition cameras, recording devices (NVRs), and the connections needed to make it all work. They’ll also handle any electrical or construction work required to install the equipment.
This contract demonstrates Magellanic Cloud’s ability to deliver complex, safety-critical infrastructure projects.
