The contract involves supplying 4,840 stand-alone off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS) throughout Madhya Pradesh. These pumps will be part of the Component-B of the Pradhan Mantri-Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PM-KUSUM) scheme, a government program aimed at promoting solar-powered irrigation. Shakti Pumps will need to deliver these systems within a 120-day timeframe.

Their consolidated net profit decreased by 10.56% to Rs 90.71 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 101.42 crore in Q2 FY25.
