Allcargo Logistics’ Domestic Network Analyzed
Allcargo Logistics has just made a big change to how it delivers goods across India. They’ve launched a new system called Allcargo Extended Reach, or AER. This upgrade is a major step to make sure products get to more places faster and more reliably.
Key Points
- Allcargo AER expands nationwide delivery network significantly.
- New system boosts service reliability for customers across India.
- Network now covers 100% of Indian PIN codes.
- Expanded network from 21,000 to over 32,000 locations.
- Direct service to over 10,000 PIN codes increased.
- Focus on speed, reliability, and efficient operations.
Before, Allcargo used a system called Extra Serviceable Stations, or ESS. AER is a much improved version of that. The company has worked hard to map out every location in India, which is called PIN codes. This means they can deliver to almost every address!
They’ve grown their network from 21,000 to over 32,000. They do this by setting up Distribution Centres, which are like hubs where they sort and send out packages. This also helps them serve more than 10,000 PIN codes directly.
This change means faster deliveries and fewer problems. It’s a smart move to make sure businesses and people get their goods quickly and on time.
“Strategic network expansion drives operational efficiency and strengthens Allcargo Logistics’ market position.”
